Kevin Johns joined Clayton & McKervey, P.C. in 1998 and is currently leading the way in our work with privately-held companies in the energy sector.
He is currently working with an Austrian wind development company that was formed by six leading Austrian wind energy companies. He and his team have helped structure the entity, demonstrate how funds would move through the entity structure, explain the tax structure and what it means to the development company's investment.
Kevin is experienced helping in-bound international start-ups in manufacturing, distribution and service-related industries. He offers guidance on a variety of accounting, tax and business issues including business start-ups and growth management. Kevin has a keen understanding of the accounting and tax issues for companies in the hi-tech industry, including revenue recognition and research and development credits.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Kevin received his bachelor's degree in accountancy from Bob Jones University.
