Before joining Clayton & McKervey, P.C., Wendy was Professional Standards Partner in Grant Thornton's Detroit office. As the lead technical assurance partner and as an assurance engagement partner, Wendy's work included complex technical issue resolution, SOX compliance and adoption, financial statement audits, audits of internal controls over financial reporting, financial statement reviews and compilations, design of systems of internal control, litigation support assistance and designing and performing due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
Wendy is a Member of the AICPA and the MACPA. She is the past Chair and a member of the MACPA Construction Industry Committee. She is a past president of the Surety Association of Michigan. She is a member of the Walsh College Accounting Advisory Committee and participates actively in fund raising for Vista Maria.
