We have an immediate position available in our Emerging & Middle Market Entrepreneurs Department. The successful candidate will work with a culturally diverse client base in a wide range of industries. Working independently as well as within a team, they will have the opportunity for advancement and staff development. This position is for a career minded individual with a strong desire to grow in the field of public accounting.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs a broad range of diversified accounting assignments.
- Participates in planning and scheduling of client engagements.
- Oversees and instructs Staff Accountants and Intern positions as necessary.
- Efficiently prepares and reviews work papers.
- Prepares complicated financial statements with appropriate notes.
- Prepares client tax returns for individual, corporate, partnership, and others.
- Conducts research of technical matters.
- Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of the tax process.
- Demonstrates ability to monitor project status to meet budgets, deadlines and quality control.
- Actively promotes and facilitates teamwork throughout the firm.
- Clearly and effectively communicates orally and in writing.
Qualifications
- CPA certified
- A minimum of two to three years experience in public accounting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
