As a TAX MANAGER at Clayton & McKervey, you will work with our clients who are growth-driven, middle-market entrepreneurs with a global reach. You will effectively supervise a number of engagements simultaneously, ensuring optimum client satisfaction while leading staff, instructing them in work to be performed. You will invest in our international clients while we invest in you!
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for directing the oversight of multiple projects/engagements simultaneously
- Effectively delegate and leverage work to ensure client satisfaction and staff development
- Contribute to the development of tax policies and procedures for the firm
- Efficiently prepare and review and revise work papers
- Deliver tax compliance solutions with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations
- Participate and contribute to attaining team goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting, with demonstrated knowledge of audit accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong ability to plan and organize work for self and others, and strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Must be a strategic thinker and possess the ability to market the firm's services
- Knowledge of ProSystems fx and CCH Engagement a plus
