Julia Qi, International Accounting and Tax Consultant at Clayton & McKervey, P.C., is fundamental to our relationships with Chinese businesses. A CPA in China and Australia, Julia recently relocated from Beijing to join our team.
Julia brings cultural and language skills, and a solid understanding of the Chinese business environment. She can readily help Chinese businesses understand the U. S. systems and regulations, compared to those in China. Julia helps clients in a range of financial and accounting tasks, including cost and general accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger analysis, and financial reporting.
Julia draws from over 12 years of diverse experience, most recently with Zhong He Zheng Xin CPAs, our affiliated PKF International office headquartered in Beijing. Her role there encompassed accounting, management consultancy work including tax advisory/planning, and M&A advisory work for clients. Her other focus was technical research in the areas of the latest development in the China Tax Act, accounting standards, Companies Act, Foreign Currency Control policies, and other relevant regulations.
Julia received her Postgraduate Diploma in accounting from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. She also holds certifications in accounting, international trading, and finance from the University of International Business and Economics, China. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Beijing Union University.
